PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Do you believe… that adults can rise above the behavior of their children? Two urban professional couples meet to discuss a playground incident involving their children, a little fight that got out of hand. It soon becomes clear that the adults are as much in need of a “time out” as the children. This darkly comedic script by Yasmina Reza (Art) scratches through the thin veneer of social niceties to expose the rough, raw and very human emotions brought to the surface when these parents feel they must come to their children’s defense. Winner of the 2009 Tony and Olivier Awards for new plays.
