PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

This is the modern Musical version of Frank Baum's Wonderful Wizard of Oz. America's greatest fairytale, this classic story blends elements of traditional magic, such as witches, with early twentieth-century American realities like Kansas cyclones, a scarecrow, a man made of tin and a wizard from Omaha, Nebraska.

Typically performed by an African American cast, Brookwood presented the show with a Southern twist.
