PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Conservative English accountant Henry Perkins discovers that his briefcase, which contained some papers a diary and half a cheese and chutney sandwich, has been mistakenly switched with an identical briefcase - which contains 735,000 Pounds! Henry wants to take the money and run to Barcelona, but is endlessly delayed by his wife and their friends who have come over for Henry's birthday dinner. Add two detectives, one corrupt and the other just plain clueless and it's british farce at it's best.

"Funny Money" is a non-stop riot! My friends and I left wondering how on Earth the cast members remembered all their rapid-fire lines. It was, well..."funny." With so many of us crusty and hard-to-please these days, it's nice to know we can escape to laughter occasionally. The cast is great, with perfect timing. Very nice set, too.
