PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

The Polk Street Players opens its 33rd season in September with the hilarious comedy "The Red Velvet Cake War" by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, directed by Pete Borden. The Verdeen cousins of Sweetgum TX are determined to hold their family reunion, as scheduled, even though it is in the middle of the tornado season and the hottest day in July. Sidesplittingly funny right to the chaotic denouement! Performances Fri/Sat Sept.9,10,16,17,23,24 at 8pm, Sun. Sept. 18 at 2:30pm and Thurs. Sept. 22 at 8pm. Tickets $12.50-$20.
