PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Sweet-natured Alice Sycamore (Carrie McGuffin) falls for bankers son Tony Kirby (Alex Young). But when she invites her snooty prospective in-laws to dinner to give their blessing to the marriage, Alices peculiar extended family -- including philosophical grandfather Martin Vanderhof (Robert Winstead), hapless fledgling ballerina sister Essie (Emma Gray) and fireworks enthusiast father, Paul (Jerry Jobe) -- might be too eccentric for the staid Kirbys.
