PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Step right up as Dad's Garage & Theatre Arts Guild of Georgia Perimeter College present Stephen Sondheim's critically acclaimed Assassins. This twisted and timely musical targets the memorable, (John Wilkes Booth, John Hinkley, Jr.), and the not so memorable (Samuel Byck, Leon Czolgosz), self-proclaimed patriots who have attempted to take a President's life.
From John Wilkes Booth's final song to Lincoln to a duet between Squeaky Fromme and John Hinckle (in which they declare their love for Charlie Manson and Jodie Foster, respectively), Assassins not only features some of Sondheim's best musical work, but some of his most clever and thought provoking lyrics, while at the same time offering comic commentary on our society.
