PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Ordinary Language fails us in the face of random acts of horror. How do you speak to, write about and stage a story of senseless death and overwhelming loss without the cliches adn banal moralizing of popular entertainment? A play of pure poetry and an extraordinary power to touch the deepest places in the human heart.

The Experts Say...

Atlanta Journal-Constitution
by Kathy Janich
September 29, 2000
Kathy sez "'Tirade For Three' isn't easy theater." She sees this play as somewhat of an enigma, "now we understand it. Oops, now we don't." Come to the show ready to strain for comprehension, this isn't escapist entertainment. "Truth be told, everyone who sees it may see something else."

Creative Loafing
by Curt Holman
October 04, 2000
Curt sez "Audiences expecting an easy, 'well-made play' needn't give Tirade for Three a second thought." He suggests wheather you would like it or not is based on your tolerance for abstract theater and says "uninteresting it's not."
