The World Premiere of Lauren Gunderson’s BACKGROUND, the winner of the 2004 Essential Theatre Playwriting Award. This daring new work by a Decatur native and Emory student tells the true story of a forgotten scientist, moving backwards in time from the present day all the way to the Dawn of Creation.
