Verdict, by Agatha Christie

2.0
Agatha Chrisite can be very dull to watch. Her plays, however, can be a good starting place for new actors to learn their craft. That's a good way to look at this production if you are able to see it. Laura Jean Shockley,as the villianess, was fun to watch and enlivened the show with pace and emotional connection. Alas, she is killed in the second act. A few other actors have small shining moments. The show could've been much better if the pace was not so amazingly slow. Four beats between every line adds about 45 minutes to a show. And at that point you begin to wish that you were the one to get run over by a tram instead.
