UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL or An Impressive Display of Lovely Evidences, by Glen Berger
WOW!

5.0
It's rare that I actually take the time to write a review, but I was so moved by this show and the performace of the actor, Steve Coulter, that I had to take a moment.

I had read about this show last year, but missed it. So I was very excited to hear Actors Theatre of Atlanta was bringing the show back this year.

I can only describe this show as a roller coaster for adults. Coulter's performance as a Dutch librarian in search of a person who has deposited a book over 113 years over-due into his library's night deposit slot is stunning and something anyone who loves theatre must see. That basic description does not giv any clue of the adventure we take with Coulter - it is a comment on life on so many levels and it is always amazingly engaging and entertaining.

I can say without any reservations that this is one of the best plays I have ever seen - I urge you to catch it this month. I saw I AM MY OWN WIFE in NY a few months ago (both are 1 man shows) and I must say, this show is on par with that one. I can't put into words how wonderful this show is -

So that is my two cents - SEE IT!
