Ten Little Indians, by Agatha Christie

5.0
I was really excited to see this play, as Ten Little Indians is one of my favorite old movies, and this performance did not disappoint! Jenny Powers (Vera Claythorne) and Brandon Strellis (Phillip Lombard) had great chemistry, which made for a very believable performance. Tim Quirk (Anthony Marston) was great in his first production at Brookwood, and he brought some great comic relief toward the beginning of the play. Notable mentions to everyone in the cast. But the most outstanding performance to me was Kyle Tutton as Sir Lawrence Wargrave, the judge. He did an excellent job and literally gave me chill bumps during his confession.

Into the Woods, by Stephen Sondheim

Awesome. I can see why this won 1st at One Act. I thought the acting was superb, especially Rico Sisney as the wolf. The singing was even better. Ben Thorpe and Gretchen Gordon as the baker and his wife had great stage presence and perfect chemistry. Gordon had great facial expressions and brought a lot of comedy to the show. Galen Crawley as the witch was wonderful and it gave me chills (in a good way, of course) when she sang "Last Midnight". Notable performances also by Sawyer Armstrong as Rapunzel, Eva Schultz as Cinderella, and Matt Clickner and Scott D'Alfonso as the princes.
