Seussical, The Musical, by Music by Stephen Flaherty Lyrcis by Lynn Ahrens, and Booky by Both
Not up to the standard of the past
Monday, August 28, 2006
2.0
Pros: Good casting. Wonderful handling of Mother Nature (The first show rained out). OK value. Lighting better than most events this year although not up to past standards. Music OK. Better than watching TV. Better than most comunity theater productions.

Cons: Weak sound. Spoiled by this companies production of "Dreamcoat". Principles did not hold a candle to Dreamcoat. Nor music, direction, sound, lighting, etc. Once a company has moved from an amature standing and elevated itself artisticly and technally as this company did with Dreamcoat, i'ts hard to return to an amature production without reporcutions.
