CRAZY FOR YOU, by GEORGE AND IRA GERSHWIN
CRAZY FOR YOU

I went to see Crazy For You at Chattahoochee High School in Alpharetta last night. It was opening night. I was expecting a high school musical. But what I saw was an absolutely fabulous production. As good as it gets. This High School amazes me. There is no wonder that Chattahoochee HS Music Department has a reputation for performing outrageously wonderful productions. The casting was spot on. Polly played by Courtney Selwyn was not only believable, but amazingly delightful. If she isn’t Broadway bound she needs to be. She is a great actor with a superb voice. Kyle Jaeger’s comedic timing and on stage presence is charismatic. The costumes are beautiful. The set is of professional quality. The dancing is superb. The team of Rhonda Fossum (Musical Director), Kathy Winchell (Artistic Direction), Allison Polaski (Choreography) is one to look for in future productions. This high energy musical with this talent is one you don’t want to miss. A perfect date show. I can’t remember when I had so much fun for such a little amount of money!
