The Mousetrap, by Agatha Christie
Well acted
Friday, July 24, 2009
4.0
I've seen more instances of bad acting in GA theatre, so I was thrilled to discover The Mousetrap had an entire cast of fine actors. Everyone knew their character, and place in the story. The one detraction is the lack of tension as the mystery unfolds. There is a lack of the intensity of murder and accusation on stage, which takes away from the big reveal. This however does not in any sense ruin the production, as it is still vastly entertaining. Definitely worth seeing.
