Comedy Response Unit Comedy Improv, by CRU Players
Long-Form Supremacy
Tuesday, May 7, 2002
5.0
These guys and gals don't get the credit they deserve in this town. I just read that they are struggling to keep alive and that is a shame. I urge anyone who hasn't seen them to go. If they have to close down, you will have missed some of the finest performances in Atlanta. I've seen them numerous times and no one in Atlanta does it like the CRU. They have long-form shows, 2 hours long, and long-form pieces, such as the Harold, that are 30 to 45 minutes long (depending on which night you go).

They have brought the true art of improv to this town and they have been looked over. They are just as good as any of the groups from Chicago and New York that I've seen. The connections that they make during their performances always make me think "how did they find that?" It is intelligent, entertaining and unique. What a shame.
