JaCKPie, by Jim Karwisch
Improv as Art
Wednesday, December 5, 2001
5.0
JaCKPie demonstrates every improvisors' desire to find the beauty and art in improv. The two men are perfectly in sync, creating worlds filled with interesting people and situations. Both hilarious and, yes, thought-provoking (please forgive the cliche term), it is not just a show for the improv savvy. It extends itself to anyone who wants to laugh, to think, and to check out a couple of good looking men.

A Big Fan of Me, by Dan Berman
Offensive, brilliant, funny, and provocative

I was unsure of what I was getting myself into when I went to see this "one Dan show". What I got was a cleverly written and incredibly well put together show that combined comedy with genuine thought-provoking statements about the world around us. The staging was amazing, I was never sure what to expect next, it was a constant surprise. I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys a blend of comedy and editorial satire.

Baby with the Bathwater, by Christopher Durang
Well I loved it

I went to see this play and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The cast, comprised entirely of Comedy Response Unit improvisors, plays the dark and twisted side of Durang's script as well as the tits and ass fun. I can't wait to see what they do next!

Comedy Response Unit Comedy Improv, by CRU Players

I went to see the CRU this past Saturday and just wow! I laughed myself silly. Not only are they funny, they truly make improv an art form. True to their word, they're original and unique.
