This is a one man show about Robert Burns, the Scottish poet and songwriter. Clarke, the actor, does an *amazing* job with this. The acting is great, the singing is great. The only drawback is that the accent is so real, that it is sometimes difficult to understand. Great production from Theatre Gael! |

This was better than I expected it to be. The singer/songwriter (whose name I don't remember) was excellent, and some of the sketches were awesome.
Some parts of it dragged, but that's to be expected in a show where there are so many different performances by so many different groups.
I could have lived with less performance art (who couldn't?) and more of the plays and music, though.
All in all, I am excited about the full production coming up. If this is any indication, then the Seen+Heard Festival is going to be a smashing success! |
