Brigadoon, by Lerner & Lowe

Saturday, June 28, 2003
5.0
I went and saw Brigadoon Friday night thinking that it was going to be just all right, but to my surprise this show is one of the best community theater productions that I have ever seen. The ensemble was terrific with very high energy and they even had a pregnant town’s person who did very well. Other members in the ensemble that I enjoyed watching was Jenny Baden,Cheryl Rogers,Sarah Underwood and Andrew Snider. Olivia Sloan is so talented and so well cast as Fiona. She has wonderful acting and singing skills. Steve Cook fits perfectly as Tommy Albright. Jacqueline Goldston had a different take on Meg but it was one of the best ways I have seen Meg been played. Liz Brendel was great and has one of the most contagious smiles ever. She just seems like she is having so much fun. Katy Cook was very well cast as the beautiful Jane Austin. Justin Green as Charlie has on of the most beautiful tenor voice. Last but certainly not least was the wonderful bagpiper who looked so professional. This play is a must see!
