PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

The Exonerated is a “drama-mentary” that shares the stories of 6 innocent survivors of death row. Some of these innocent people spent as long as 22 years on death row before being released. They were released not on technicalities, but because they were guiltless of the crimes for which they were accused, prosecuted and convicted.

This is not fiction. This is their stories, told in their own words,
stories you won't ever forget.

The Exonerated was named best play of 2003 by TIME magazine. It has been discussed on NPR, featured in UTNE and The Progressive magazines, had wide spread coverage in major newspapers, and is also the subject of a Court TV original movie.
