(LIVE FAMILY-FRIENDLY RECREATION OF OLD TIME RADIO SHOWS)
OUR MISS BROOKS
Connie Brooks, originally played by Eve Arden, was an English teacher at Madison High School in this thirty-minute comedy series. She was taken into the hearts of teachers. At last, a teacher was seen as something other than a boring, sexless, freak of nature. She complained about her low pay, and pursued the bashful biology teacher.
In this hilarious episode, it's Student Government Day and the kids are put in charge of the whole town. No problem, until they decide to shut down the Mayor's slot machine business.
1952-1961 Starring William Conrad, Matt Dillon was the Marshall of Dodge City, and he was the law; "Around Dodge City, there's just one way to handle the killers: that's with a US Marshall and the smell of gunsmoke! This radio show was so popular that it played during the TV
show run. In this episode men are dropping like flies due to the amorous attentions of a local fem-fatale. Gunsmoke is the most challenging radio show we've ever done. The sound effects alone (horses, gunfire, coyotees, locomotives, etc.) will make this show our most exciting.
FIBBER MCGEE AND MOLLY
They were called "America's First Family of Fun" and wonderful comedy and characters still stand today as one of the funniest and longest-running radio shows in history. Do you remember Fibber McGee's closet? In this hilarious episode, Fibber gets his hand stuck in a
milk bottle and all of Wistful Vista comes to the rescue. Don't miss it! The sound effects of Fibber's Closet is reason alone not to miss this very funny show.
You'll also hear Susan Hargus and the Philco Radio Singers. Susan will knock your socks off with "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." Anita Statton will also sing a favorite big band song, and little Jessica Bosworth, (our beloved Baby Snooks) will sing Shirley Temple's theme song - "On The Good Ship Lollipop"
