PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

WORLD PREMIERE! In his first full-length play since winning the Pulitzer Prize for "The Kentucky Cycle", Mr. Schenkkan has chosen an unlikely subject - The Holiness Way sect of snake handlers. The story begins as Geordi is released from prison and the gulf between him and his wife, Terri, seems as wide as the Mississippi River. In their desparate effort to pick up the pieces of their lives, both are driven to extreme actions. In response to their desparation, strange and wondrous miracles unfold in their lives. An astonishing, magical new play of immense power of faith, loss and love.
