PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Shakespeare is brought to life once again as Cobb Playhouse presents the classic “Romeo and Juliet”. From the heckling bard who greats you upon arrival to the dueling Montagues and Capulets, you will be engrossed with sword fighting, tragedy, humor, and misunderstandings that are all set to the most romantic language ever written. Whether you are the student studying Shakespeare, a seasoned veteran of his writings, or someone who has never enjoyed Shakespeare, you will be delighted and entertained as a small twist ensues, making you wonder…”Will the show go on?”...And thus the Bard of Avon comes to Acworth in his most romantic guise.
