I saw this production on opening night. I have seen this show countless times, and this was by far the best production of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's masterpiece. Ms. Mew's concept of a commedia del'Arte troupe performing for a wedding was genius. It worked perfectly. Mr. Noble was exquisite as Matt, as was Ms. Floyd in the role of Luisa. Huckabee and Bellomy as two new yorker fathers was a great choice by Ms. Mew. And of course, Mr. Bouchard did a smashing job as El Gallo, which was obviously not his first time in the role.
Kudos to the production crew as well for the set and lights. The christmas lights hung in the house were a cute touch...congrats to whoever took the time to hang those. A fantastick show...MUST SEE! [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
