PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

A poor miller brags of his daughter’s ability to spin straw into gold. When the Queen hears this tale, she sends for the girl and locks her in a room of straw to perform magic. A mysterious little man appears and offers to help, but she must pay a high price for his magic – unless she can guess his real name. Based on the original fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Told with marionettes and magic.
