PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Crazy For You
Book by Ken Ludwig, Music and Lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin.

July 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29, August 2, 3, & 4.
(Curtain is at 8:00 p.m., Sunday performance is at 2:00 p.m.)

Bobby Child, heir to a wealthy banking family, yearns to be in show business. He often escapes reality by conjuring up Follies Girls, only to return to face both his mother and his (soon-to-be-ex) fiancée. Both women can only agree on one thing: Bobby should focus on real life with them at the center of it. Faced with the ultimatum: "Family Business, Marriage, or bust!" Bobby chooses bust and ends up face to face with his true love. Through mix-ups and farce galore, follow Bobby on his rocky road to happiness. Filled with Gershwin hits such as "You Can't Take That Away from Me," "Bidin' My Time," and "Someone Who'll Watch Over Me," this classic is a winner for everyone.

Excellent show!

This was a very entertaining evening at the theater! Nick Fehn took comamnding lead and carried it right through with his beautiful voice and surprising dancing. His vocal training was very apparent. It's rare for someone who can sing so well to also be able to dance. The mirror/drunk scene with Nick and Ryan Blasingame was fabulous!

The choreography was delightful! The follies looked like girls who'd been dancing together for years. The sets were clever. And the direction was seamless; with a bunch of little things that add up to brilliant. The band was excellent and it always adds so much to have live music.

A show that had me humming and tapping all the way home! [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
