PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

2 by 5 is a musical cabaret; a celebration of the songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb, the "2" of the title, as performed (originally) by "5" actors. The first production was performed in 1978 in a small theatre the Village Gate, a landmark cabaret in Greenwich Village. The evening was directed by Seth Glassman.
As a musical cabaret, 2 By 5 has both elements of theatre and night club performance. Audience members will love to hear such favorite hits as "New York, New York" from the movie with the same title; "Willkommen", "Mein Herr", and "Don't Tell Mama" from Cabaret; "Cell Block Tango", "Mister Cellophane", and "All That Jazz" from Chicago; to obscure oldies such as "Isn't This Better" from Zorba, "Ring Them Bells" from Liza with a Z, and "Home" from 70 Girls 70.
So, if your motto is that 'Life is a Cabaret!" then you will definetly want to call now to reserve your tickets for 2 By 5!
