From the golden age of the American musical comedy, Anything Goes is a hedonistic pleasure cruise packed with classic Cole Porter numbers: "You're the Top", "It's De-Lovely", "I Get a Kick Out of You", "Blow, Gabriel, Blow", and the show-stopping title song "Anything Goes".
Luxury ocean liner the S.S. American sets sail for Europe with a cargo of colorful characters including millionaires, gangsters, stowaways, a beautiful debutante and a raunchy evangelist. Mismatched lovers and mistaken identities create waves of laughter and the cast sings and tap dances up a storm, but, this show is unsinkable. This Tony-Award winning musical originally starring Ethel Merman, will send you sailing happily into the sunset!

I'm not that crazy about the book, but omg what a show! What performances! What dancing! The directors and cast have made an overdone and very old show into a way phat-phree experience. The cast is great, but Criag Meyer is da bomb! The rest of cast rocks too, but Craig is totally spun imho. Omg he's now my fave actor in Atlanta. I'm in LOVE! [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW] |

Just saw the show at Sunday matinée. Fantastic vocals, acting, dancing and music. This is as good as it gets in Professional Musical Theater in Atlanta or anywhere else for that matter. A real shame that the show only ran this weekend, this quality of production needs at least 3-4 weekends and it sounds like they are working on that. Hats off to the entire cast and crew,a tremendous job. [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW] |
