PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

What is it that one thing that you canít live without?
And can you even tell anyone? A somewhat mentally unstable woman kidnaps her brotherís dog as retribution for his cross-country move, and as ransom engages him in a raging psychological battle over childhood secrets. Over the course of an afternoon he is forced to examine his life and family relationships in ways that are usually left unexplored in the deepest reaches of the psyche. And despite all that, this play is still funny as hell. Fast paced and darkly comedic, Crazy for the Dog examines the complexities of family affection and the realities of unconditional love.
