PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

KeithKNOWS: Been there, KNOW THAT!
A Theatrical Tour De Force! Daniel Beaty’s back in the ATL! We were spell bound with his performance in the Obie Award-winning“Emergence-SEE” and he returns with another lyrically brilliant must see production, “Resurrection” This time, it’s still a one man show, instead of portraying over 40 characters, he narrowed it down to just 6. How does he do it?
Capturing the minds and hearts of his audience, he portrays all 6 characters effortlessly, with an eclectic mix of comedy, drama, music and poetry.
He shares with us, 6 African American men, ages 10 – 60, who deal with societal ills, relationships, hopes, fears, trials and tribulations. It’s fascinating to watch him portray a young scientist, an aspiring corporate executive, an ex-convict, health food store owner, Bishop of a mega-church, and a young man from the projects who gets a chance to be the first in his family to attend college. “Resurrection” will make you think out loud about your relationships, fears, hopes, dreams, challenges and much more. “Resurrection” issues a wake-up call to us all, we’ve got to live and work together to make this world a better place. So invite your family and friends to see this electrifying one man play(this play is not appropriate for children under 13) Get your tickets now, the play ends Feb 17.
