Winner of several Tony's in 1988, and in its revival, the show will come to life at the Blackwell Playhouse. The show unwinds several classic fairy tales including Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack & The Bean stock, Cinderella and more. They all cross paths and destinies. The show is directed by Rob Hardie (Will Rogers Follies, Bye Birdie) and music directed by Annie Cook (Assassins, Working). The duo worked together last in the acclaimed version of Bye Birdie in Acworth. Adding to the mix is Choreographer, Jennifer Smiles (Godspell). "The amazing thing about this show", says Hardie," Is how these characters paths intersect and how they get through the darker days after 'living happily ever after' doesn't work out". He went on to say that it is also a chance for talented musical theatre actors to be really creative with their characters. The show has dazzled audiences for years, making them laugh and cry. The show features such songs as, "No More", "the Steps of the Palace" and "Children Will Listen".
