PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

A love story set in a time of a lot of hate. Elton John & Tim Rice wrote the music and the lyrics to this show in a modern rock style with very powerful & emotional numbers which keep your attention to the last note.

I read about this Community Theatre in Points North Magazine, and am I glad I did!!! This is an amazing show and an amazing production. The cast surpasses any community theatre I have seen in the Atlanta area. The role of Aida has been double cast so you really need to see both actors portraying this role. We went back for a second time and I am happy we did because both AIDAs bring a different element to the character the singing is superb. The set, costumes, live pit orchestra makes this theatrical event as good, if not better, then any professional traveling Broadway show that I have ever seen. It is my understanding that this community theatre only produces one show per year. If so, thats a shame. But believe me, my family and I will look for their show next year. My daughter found this link on You Tube I guess it was taken at a practice a few weeks ago never the less it gives you an idea on the talent of this show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb-MZDVgpX8 [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
