PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

A true hero on and off the field, Jackie Robinson proved his friends, his enemies and the entire world wrong by breaking the color barrier within Major League Baseball. Through captivating multi-media and stellar acting, this award-winning and historically accurate play follows Jackie from the sandlots of his childhood through his acceptance of the National League's MVP Award in 1949.
