PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Dad's Garage presents the 5th season of it's improvised soap opera, Scandal, opening on October 12th. Tickets are $10. In past years' seasons of Scandal, you've journeyed to Little Five Points, and you've been to the theatre, the police station, the hotel and even to the revolving space station just 4 miles above us...But what of Little Five Points Past? What was there when there was only Little One Point? Dad's Garage Theatre Company invites you to pack up the wagon, pull up the stakes, and travel west...because just west of Little One Point there's a little wild wild west west town...and that town is filled with Scandal! Atlanta's most popular soap opera returns, but this time it's set in 1848. Come meet the Chinese mayor, the new female sheriff, the town madam, the Montessori school teacher with a dark past, Mormon pioneer "figure" Brigham Young, and many, many more.

Nothing comes close to Scandal!

Now that this season is over, I just want to tell everybody in the company that you went far beyond anything I have ever seen or heard before. The show was not only fall-out-of-your-seat funny - it also punched holes in every social/political/religious belief that we hold so dear. I loved the way you all played off of each other and your intelligence. Each member of your cast clearly loves what he/she is doing. Your improv piano player is the best! (How does he know so many songs?) Dad's is the cutting edge of theatre in Atlanta and Scandal is the sharpest point on that knife. I can't wait until the next SCANDAL!
