PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Act 3 Productions (www.act3productions.org), the professional-level youth theater based in Sandy Springs, will present Story Theatre March 25-28 at the Act 3 Playhouse in Sandy Springs. The Tony Award-winning production is comprised of stories drawn from fairy tales and legends including Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Aesop’s Fables, with added folk music and choreography.

“Story Theatre was created by Paul Sills, one of the founders of the renowned improvisational group, Second City, so you know it’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Patti Mactas, artistic director of Act 3 Productions. “Story Theatre is not children’s theater, but fairy tale lovers of all ages will enjoy the experience,” she said.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Additional performances are at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. They may be purchased at www.act3productions.org. The Act 3 Playhouse is located behind Trader Joe’s in Sandy Springs Plaza at the intersection of Roswell Road and Johnson Ferry Road. The address is 6285-R Roswell Road, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30328.
