A Midsummer Night's Dream & Merchant of Venice
by Stan King
Tuesday, January 24, 2012
5.0
My wife and I saw "Midsummer" and "Merchant" on consecutive weekends. I have seen both of these plays several times and the ASC productions were the best I have attended, by a considerable margin. The players at the Shakespeare Tavern can find more humor in Shakespeare than I knew existed, and they can also present pathos when that is called for. [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
