PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play.

Set in 1964, "Doubt, a Parable" is a gripping story of suspicion. Sister Aloysius, the principal of a Bronx parochial school, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students. John Patrick Shanley's timely and powerful script is not merely an examination of scandal unfolding, but also a fascinatingly nuanced exploration of moral certainty.
