PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Adapted from the Grimm Fairy Tale by Jeannie and Wally Hinds. The miller brags about his beautiful daughter and the stories get more and more fantastic until he claims she can spin straw into gold. The King and Queen of Queenana, hear the story and send two bumbling barrons into the kingdom to find the miller’s daughter and bring her to the castle so she can make them rich. In the dungeon she meets a little man who says he can spin the straw into gold – but his price is very high. This light hearted adaptation has funny characters, a handsome prince, a royal wedding, and if you throw in some help from the audience and a happy ending, it adds up to big fun for the whole family
