PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

A lesbian teenager struggles to avoid being noticed, to survive the torment of bullying behavior, and to embrace one teacher’s determination to provide hope in a seemingly-hopeless situation. Inspired by Georgia native Carson McCullers’ The Heart is A Lonely Hunter, fml is a play about surviving our high school years, embracing our identity, and transforming society through art.
