PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

The Book of Ruth tells the story of a young girl and her grandmother who create hope for their future amidst the despair of war. Separated from the rest of the family and sent to a Nazi transit camp, Ruth and her grandmother nourish their souls by secretly enacting cherished family traditions. Celebrating faith and community, this is a touching story of the love between generations. Alliance Children's Theatre production performed in the Studio Theatre. Recommended for ages nine and up.
