PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

This sequel to the Rooting Place returns to Mississippi where Oba has returned following the death of his Great Great Grandmother. When he bring a white mother and daughter with him, his family makes assumptions. Things are not always as they would first appear and Oba must confront his family his prejudices, colorism, and history of abuse to conquer the past of his family, rather than let it define him.
