PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

When Shep, an accountant in Atlanta, decided to become a sperm donor, he could never have imagined the impact it would have on everyone in his life. After being given information that makes him consider his mortality, he takes a chance on a new love with a few secrets of his own. At the same time, his ex-boyfriend Chris fights dual battles with cancer and his mother, Dorothy Jean. The technician from Shepís sperm bank, who may or may not be a psychiatrist, hires Shepís best friend Narissa as a personal trainer, but their training sessions quickly give way to therapy. Meanwhile, Chris's current boyfriend, Owen, who was once engaged to Narissa, faces surprising news from his past. This is the story of seven people chasing unlikely dreams, and realizing along the way that sometimes, your real family is made up of the people you choose.

5.0
This is the best play I've seen in Atlanta this year, period. The cast is flawless, with Marcie Millard particularly standing out with a brilliantly nuanced comic performance as Ms. Eckles.
Topher Payne's fast-paced, hilarious script will have you laughing through tears, and Dewayne Morgan's seamless direction enhances a very strong work. I laughed, I cried, you have GOT to see this play. [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
