PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

"Pornography, parenting and pain"

Paula Vogel takes no prisoners as she examines domestic violence, sex and raising teenagers. Brutal, funny and heart-wrenching.

In a delightfully ironic twist on "family values," Charlene writes women’s erotica in order to be a stay- at- home- mom. When her abusive ex-husband Clyde tells their kids that Mom writes pornography, Charlene is robbed of all authority and control. Add to that writer’s block, teenagers overcome by hormones, and a late night visit from estraining-order-breaking Clyde -- and you’ve got a brutally funny Paula Vogel play.
